Steffi Graf Abandons Long Time Marriage With Andre Agassi Over Child Parenting After…Read More
Tennis legends Steffi Graf and Andre Agassi have expressed concern over the growing trend of “unbothered child” parenting. The couple, who have been married since 2001, believe that this approach can lead to a lack of discipline and accountability in children.
“We’ve seen a lot of parents who are so focused on being their child’s friend that they forget to set boundaries,” Graf said in a recent interview. “Children need structure and guidance to thrive.”
Agassi added, “As parents, it’s our job to teach our kids right from wrong and help them develop a strong work ethic. If we don’t, who will?”
The couple, who have two children together, emphasized the importance of finding a balance between being nurturing and setting clear expectations. “We want our kids to be confident and independent, but also respectful and responsible,” Graf said.
Their concerns echo those of many experts who warn that “unbothered child” parenting can lead to entitlement and a lack of resilience in children. Graf and Agassi’s approach to parenting is a refreshing reminder of the importance of traditional values in raising well-rounded kids.
