George Strait to Receive CMA Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award, Honored with Tribute and Upcoming Statue

Legendary Country Icon to Receive Tribute at the 58th Annual CMA Awards on November 20th

George Strait, one of country music’s most celebrated artists, will receive the esteemed CMA Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award at the 58th annual CMA Awards. The three-time CMA Entertainer of the Year will be honored during the ceremony at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on November 20, 2024, with a tribute performance by fellow artists recognizing his extraordinary contributions to the genre. The event will air live on ABC.

With an unprecedented 83 CMA nominations, he holds the record for the most nominations in the association’s history. A member of the Country Music Hall of Fame and the Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame, Strait has sold over 70 million albums, further solidifying his status as a global music icon.
