Netflix Confirms Feature Documentary on Nu-Metal Pioneers Korn
Netflix Dares to Go Inside the Madness: Korn’s Chaos, Pain & Legacy Finally Told
Korn’s Untold Story Is Coming to Netflix — A Dark, Loud, and Honest Look at the Band That Redefined Heavy Music
Brace yourself, nu-metal fans — Netflix has officially greenlit a gritty, no-filter documentary on Korn, the band that brought raw emotion, angsty rebellion, and bass-heavy darkness into the mainstream in the late ‘90s and never looked back.
Tentatively titled “Blind: The Korn Chronicles”, the upcoming feature-length film promises to dive deep into the rise, fall, and rebirth of one of rock’s most influential and misunderstood bands.
“Korn didn’t just create a sound—they gave pain a platform,” said one of the documentary’s producers. “Now we’re giving them theirs.”
Slated for a 2026 global release, the documentary will spotlight:
-
The early days of Jonathan Davis, Munky, Head, Fieldy, and David Silveria as they clawed their way out of Bakersfield, California
-
The creation of their genre-defining 1994 debut album Korn
-
Their explosive follow-ups Life Is Peachy, Follow the Leader, and Issues
-
The band’s battles with addiction, mental health, religion, and fame
-
Brian “Head” Welch’s departure, spiritual transformation, and emotional reunion with the band
-
How Korn evolved through decades of shifting musical landscapes while staying unapologetically themselves
The documentary will feature never-before-seen tour footage, interviews with all current and former band members, plus commentary from industry insiders and musical collaborators who witnessed their journey firsthand.
It won’t be all nostalgia and fanfare. The film is expected to tackle the darker chapters head-on—from personal demons to group tensions, label struggles to inner healing. For the first time, the public will hear in-depth, vulnerable reflections from Jonathan Davis, whose lyrics defined a generation’s trauma and catharsis.
“We’ve never told the full story,” Davis is quoted as saying in the teaser. “But it’s time.”
From their bagpipes and dreadlocks to redefining what it meant to scream in pain and still stand tall, Korn didn’t just start a genre—they became a movement. And now, Netflix is capturing the full impact, unfiltered.
The teaser is expected to drop early next year, with the full release coming by fall 2026.
This isn’t just a music doc—it’s a therapy session wrapped in distortion and truth.
