Upson says Arsenal’s Trossard is better than Mudryk

The prominent London team faced a setback in their title pursuit, suffering a 1-0 defeat to Newcastle United. However, they swiftly responded by securing a two-goal victory against Vincent Kompany’s side at the Emirates Stadium.

Trossard initiated Arsenal’s scoring with a courageous header at the back post, with his elbow inadvertently hitting the woodwork. Subsequently, he provided an assist for William Saliba to further extend the Gunners’ lead to 2-1 after the break.

In the 82nd minute of the match, Upson, speaking on Premier League productions, highlighted Trossard’s significant contributions since his move from Brighton & Hove Albion, labeling him a valuable signing for the club.

The pundit stated that he surpasses Mykhailo Mudryk in talent and comes at a more reasonable price. He also claimed that the player stands out as the most proficient goal scorer on the team due to his accuracy and clinical ability in the penalty area.

He said: “Trossard has made a great contribution, showing his versatility again. What a signing he has been from Brighton. I really do believe he has been a top signing for Arsenal, a really good finisher as well.”

“For me, they’ve got a better player for a lot less money (comparing to Mudryk}. I think he’s possibly the best finisher at the club. Technically, when you have a look at his goals, left and right foot, in and around the edge of the box, he’s very accurate, very clinical.”
