Bundesliga clubs are keeping an eye on Wolves’ Nigerian striker.

In terms of style and physique, the Nigerian attacker has been compared to former Arsenal strikers Kanu and Emmanuel Adebayor.

Wolverhampton Wanderers have set their sights on signing Viktoria Plzen striker Rafiu Durosinmi during the upcoming January transfer window, according to Soccernet.ng.

In the current season, the former Boxtobox FC player has scored nine goals for Plzen, including an impressive six goals in nine league appearances.

Meanwhile, according to the Daily Mail, Wolves have been actively scouting the young striker and were reportedly in talks with Plzen earlier this week about a potential transfer.

According to the reports, the Czech side is reportedly demanding a fee of £10 million for Durosinmi, and personal terms are reportedly being negotiated.

Durosinmi began his football career in Nigeria, most notably with boxtobox FC, before joining Karviná. His talent propelled him to the first team in 2022, where he made an immediate impact, scoring three goals in his debut season, including one against Slavia Prague.

Durosinmi secured a loan agreement with Viktoria Plze in January 2023. He quickly integrated into the team after arriving on loan, appearing in a friendly match for Viktoria Plze and now a permanent player for the club.

His impressive performance for the Czech Republic has piqued the interest of several top European clubs, including the Wanderers, who are eager to bring him to the Molineux Stadium.

Previous reports suggested that Brighton were interested in the Nigerian forward. Meanwhile, Eintracht Frankfurt and Stuttgart have been keeping an eye on Durosinmi’s situation, with the player reportedly leaning toward a move to Frankfurt for potential career advancement.
