Angel Reese; “We aren’t on the same level “ As She Makes WNBA History Against Las Vegas Aces
The Chicago Sky secured their most impressive win of the WNBA season on Tuesday night by defeating the Las Vegas Aces 93-85, heading into the All-Star break with a boost. This victory brings Chicago’s record to 10-14, just half a game behind the seventh-seeded Indiana Fever.

With the top eight teams making the playoffs regardless of conference, Chicago remains in the postseason race, thanks largely to All-Star forward Angel Reese. Reese made WNBA history by moving to second all-time in rookie double-doubles. After her streak was snapped in a loss to the New York Liberty, Reese bounced back with a double-double against the Aces, who had the Western Conference’s best record at 16-7. Reese recorded 13 points, 10 rebounds, and an unprecedented +26 plus/minus.
Chicago’s next game is on August 15th against the Phoenix Mercury, but Reese will play in the WNBA All-Star game on Saturday, joining Indiana Fever’s Caitlin Clark as the only rookies on the All-Star team. The Sky will enjoy this significant win while taking a break from the schedule.
