‘Back to Work’ – Tadej Pogacar and Remco Evenepoel Return from Vacations, Ready to Dominate the Autumn Season
Tadej Pogacar has accomplished the remarkable feat of winning both the Tour de France and the Giro d’Italia, and after such an achievement, he certainly earned some time away from cycling.
Together with his fiancée, Urska Zigart, they traveled across Europe. Pogacar only returned to social media yesterday to reassure fans that he’ll be fully prepared for his upcoming autumn goals—the World Championships and a potential fourth victory at Il Lombardia. “Guess who is back on Instagram. After vacation, it’s time to work again.”
Meanwhile, his major competitor, Remco Evenepoel, didn’t waste any time either. After securing two Olympic titles, he took a week off to relax in Greece and recharge for the remainder of the 2024 season. According to his Soudal – Quick-Step manager, Patrick Lefevere, Evenepoel is expected to participate in the Tour of Britain in two weeks. Afterward, the World Championships and Il Lombardia await the Belgian.
“4-day getaway with my love, recharging the batteries after the Olympics. Now back to training.”
