Christie sides “Why Caitlin Clark is out for tonight’s game” She needs time to… See why
Caitlin Clark, the star player of the Indiana Fever, will be out of tonight’s game to allow herself time to recover from a recent injury. Clark suffered an apparent ankle injury against the Connecticut Sun on Monday. Despite her efforts to play through the pain, she was eventually forced to leave the game and head to the locker room for further medical attention.
The injury occurred midway through the second quarter when Clark rolled her ankle while on defense. She was able to return to the bench before the end of the first half but did not return to the court until the start of the third quarter.
Clark’s presence on the court is vital to the Fever’s success, but her health and well-being must be prioritized. The Fever will surely miss her tonight, but they will be hoping that she can recover quickly and return to the court soon.
