On the day Lando Norris found himself in another on-track clash with a Red Bull, key headlines emerged from the British Grand Prix, including a potential seat swap between Daniel Ricciardo and Sergio Perez for the 2024 F1 season.

PlanetF1.com reports that Red Bull has not dismissed the idea of exchanging seats between Ricciardo and Perez next season. Ricciardo rejoined the F1 grid with VCARB (formerly AlphaTauri) in 2023, aiming to return to Red Bull Racing. However, his aspirations seemed dashed when Red Bull confirmed Perez’s contract renewal last month.

Recently, Ricciardo’s position has come under scrutiny, with Red Bull adviser Helmut Marko openly discussing plans to offer a drive to Liam Lawson for the 2025 season.
