Diana Taurasi has sparked reaction’s again amidst fevers game on Clark’s performance…
Caitlin Clark, the highly touted rookie, has faced a harsh reality check in her first two WNBA games. Despite her impressive college statistics, Clark has struggled to adapt to the professional level, leading to concerns about her ability to translate her game to the WNBA. However, Diana Taurasi, a veteran and one of the greatest players in the league, has offered words of encouragement to Clark.
Taurasi, who had previously predicted that Clark would face an adjustment period in the WNBA, acknowledged that the transition can be challenging. “Reality is coming, there’s levels to this thing,” Taurasi said. “You look superhuman playing 18-year-olds, but you’re going to come play with some grown women who’ve been playing professional basketball for a long time.”
Despite Clark’s struggles, Taurasi believes that she has the potential to excel in the WNBA. “When you’re great at what you do, you’re just going to get better,” Taurasi said. “But there is going to be a transition period where you’re going to have to give yourself some grace as a rookie.”
Taurasi’s encouragement comes as a welcome boost for Clark, who is still finding her footing in the league. With the support of a legend like Taurasi, Clark can focus on developing her game and reaching her full potential in the WNBA.
