Colombia has started a “major search” for Diaz’s father.
Colombian authorities are stepping their efforts to find Luis Diaz’s father after learning that his parents have been kidnapped.

After his mother was transported to safety over the weekend, the country’s military and police are assisting in the search for Diaz’s father.

Liverpool’s No. 7 was understandably absent from the squad that defeated Nottingham Forest on Sunday, with Jurgen Klopp admitting that his message to his players was to “fight for Lucho” ahead of “the most difficult” game he has ever had to prepare a team for.

A £40,000 reward is being offered to anyone with information about the case, with Colombian President Gustavo Petro declaring that “all public forces have been deployed” to find Luis Manuel Diaz.
