The Eagles’ 2024 draft class have being assigned jersey numbers, just in time for their rookie minicamp starting soon after the draft.

Interestingly, three of these numbers hold a bit of recent Eagles’ history.

Naturally, there’s a fair likelihood that these figures will alter following the August final cuts. For now, though, here’s a thorough look:

CB Quinyon Mitchell will be donning number 30, previously worn by players like Corey Clement and Colt Anderson. Meanwhile, DB Cooper DeJean secures number 33, following a line that includes Jordan Poyer and Jerome Harrison. OLB Jalyx Hunt takes number 58, a tradition carried on from Trent Cole to Kyron Johnson.

RB Will Shipley grabs number 39, adding his name to a list featuring Craig James and Chandon Sullivan. WR Ainias Smith gets number 82, continuing a legacy from Mike Quick to Torrey Smith.

LB Jeremiah Trotter Jr. gets a special nod with number 54, inheriting his father’s number and legacy. OL Trevor Keegan will wear number 79, joining a line that includes Brandon Brooks and Todd Herremans.
