Fans will be excited about the future after Elgton Jenkins’s massive praise of the Green Bay Packers overtime 

The Green Bay Packers surprised everyone this year with their playoff run, even if their season ended in tragedy. And if Elgton Jenkins is to be trusted, Rasheed Walker will undoubtedly make significant progress the next season.

David Bakhtiari had a big deal at the beginning of the previous season, but he battled injuries. Walker now had a chance to show off his skills and establish his value to the Green Bay Packers on the field.

And Walker delivered just that, coming up huge when Bakhtiari lost a significant amount of time this season. He played left tackle until Yosh Nijman took over in Week 8 after making his debut in Week 2. And even though he started the season sharing that spot with the latter, Walker continued to perform admirably the whole season.

It’s even possible to argue that his rise exceeded Jordan Love’s recent breakthrough campaign. Regardless, there’s no reason Walker shouldn’t start when the next campaign gets underway.

After a few years of NFL play, Jenkins has seen a lot throughout his tenure in the game. Especially Walker has merited his admiration. In a piece on the Packers’ official website, the two-time Pro Bowler stated:

Man, he’s a dog, Jenkins remarked. He is a gifted athlete. He arrives on Sunday with a totally unique perspective. From his initial few games to the stretch run we created, he undoubtedly matured greatly.

Walker’s career should soar to great heights given his talent and the rate at which it is developing. With Love’s summer improvements, Matt LaFleur’s coaching acumen, and Green Bay’s anticipated good finish, Walker has a lot to look forward to in the next season.
