I’m not missing football – Eden Hazard
Eden Hazard, a former Real Madrid and Chelsea midfielder, has stated that he does not miss football after retiring at the age of 32.
Hazard gave the Kopa Trophy to Jude Bellingham at the 2023 Ballon d’Or ceremony.
When the host, Didier Drogba, asked how his retirement was doing, the Belgian responded in an unexpected way.
“I’m having a good time, enjoying life, family, and the kids,” Hazard remarked.
“I have the freedom to do whatever I want.” It’s the ideal life. I don’t miss playing football right now. Let’s see what happens in a few months. My children invited me to the Ballon d’Or, so I said, ‘Okay, let’s go spend the night in Paris.'”
Hazard announced his retirement from sport earlier this month, four months after his contract with Real Madrid expired.
