Heavy metal legends Iron Maiden are set to make their cinematic debut with a Netflix original movie, slated for release in 2025. After decades of captivating audiences with their iconic music, the band is ready to conquer the world of film.
The as-yet-untitled project promises to be a thrilling ride, blending music, drama, and fantasy. Iron Maiden’s manager, Rod Smallwood, revealed that the movie will draw inspiration from the band’s storied history and discography.
“This is an exciting new chapter for Iron Maiden,” Smallwood said. “We’re eager to bring our unique blend of music and storytelling to the big screen.”
The film will be produced by Netflix and Phantom Events, with scriptwriting duties handled by renowned screenwriter, Stephen Susco (The Grudge, Texas Chainsaw Massacre).
Iron Maiden’s cinematic venture follows their successful foray into video games with “Legacy of the Beast.” The band’s iconic mascot, Eddie, will undoubtedly play a central role in the movie.
Founder and bassist Steve Harris expressed his enthusiasm: “We’re looking forward to bringing our epic stories to life in a new way.”
