MotoGP rider Jack Miller has spoken out about his thrilling yet agonizing near-podium finish, admitting “Agh, so close to a podium today, but it wasn’t meant to be!”
Miller, who started 15th on the grid, expertly navigated the chaotic early laps, dodging spray and carnage to reach 4th and briefly claim 3rd. However, his fortunes turned as the front tire began to fade, costing him vital roll speed.
“With three laps to go, there was nothing left, and I was being hunted down,” Miller recounted. Despite the disappointment, he remained optimistic, praising his consistency and acknowledging the toll of progressing through the pack on tire durability.
“It was a good race… perhaps coming through the pack cost us the most and put the most stress on the tire,” Miller said. “I really wanted that podium, but we won’t stop fighting for it. We do every weekend.”
Miller’s determination and resilience shine through, as he vows to continue pushing for that elusive podium finish.
“We won’t stop fighting” – Jack Miller’s motto echoes his unwavering commitment to success.
