A former Lakers trade target has a strong debut for his new squad.
Even if the Los Angeles Lakers could have been better off staying put, the trade deadline was a huge letdown for the franchise. Although Los Angeles was supposed to be actively involved in the team’s improvement, they believed that remaining silent was preferable to making a poor transaction. The front office cannot be held responsible for the idea, and the club will now proceed with the players in the locker room. In the buyout market, Los Angeles reached an agreement with guard Spencer Dinwiddie, who is expected to increase the team’s scoring output.
It can be difficult, though, to avoid glancing at the players who were really moved throughout the league. Dennis Schroder, a point guard, was reportedly interested in returning to Los Angeles, but in the end, he was traded—ironically—to the Brooklyn Nets for Dinwiddie.
Schroder gave his all for his new squad during his Nets debut. He helped the Nets defeat the San Antonio Spurs with 15 points, 12 assists, and two rebounds.
