Man United is prepared to pay £60 million for the playmaker

Manchester United must strengthen its wide attacking positions as soon as possible, and the name of Portuguese international Pedro Neto is mentioned.

According to an exclusive TEAMtalk report, Manchester United and Arsenal have made moves to sign the Wolverhampton Wanderers playmaker.

However, the news source revealed that, for the time being, the Gunners have edged ahead in the race to sign the 23-year-old winger.

Neto’s current contract with Wolves expires in the summer of 2027, and according to the report, a fee of at least £60 million would be required to secure his signature.

Manchester United’s wingers have been terrible this season. Prior to his outburst on Ten Hag, Sancho appeared in three league games and did not score a single goal.

Antony, a big money signing from last summer, has yet to score in the Premier League (9 games); similarly, Garnacho has played in 10 league games and has not scored.

Neto has been in superb form for Wolves. The pacy attacker has directly contributed to 8 goals (1 goal and 7 assists) in 10 league appearances.

Back in September, he was named Man of the Match against Manchester City and then provided assists in the following three games against Villa, Bournemouth, and Newcastle.

Unfortunately, he has missed the last two Premier League games due to a hamstring injury and will be unavailable for the match against Fulham on Monday night.
