Man United told £43 million bid would be accepted – Report
Man United have scouted the Asian playmaker extensively and want him to replace Antony.
According to the British news outlet, Real Sociedad would accept a fee of £43 million for their prized asset.
Last season, the 22-year-old, who has never played for Real Madrid, scored nine goals and provided seven assists in La Liga for Sociedad.
So far in the current season, Kubo has started 14 league games and has directly contributed to 9 goals (6 goals and 3 assists).
Antony, on the other hand, has been a huge flop for Manchester United. He has yet to score a goal or provide an assist for the Red Devils this season.
The South American winger was a key member of Erik ten Hag’s Ajax squad that won the Eredivisie title, so the Dutch manager chose to sign him last year.
However, after numerous opportunities, it is now clear that luring Antony was a mistake, and he must be released.
