Michael Maguire Stirs Line Up “Injuries Are Taking Hold Of The Team” A Wake Up Call
New South Wales Blues coach Michael Maguire has announced two significant changes to his line-up ahead of the highly anticipated Game III. In a bid to turn the tables on their Queensland rivals, Maguire has opted to bring in fresh talent to bolster his team’s chances.
Prop forward, Ryan Matterson, has been recalled to the starting lineup, replacing the injured Reagan Campbell-Gillard. Matterson’s inclusion adds much-needed depth and experience to the Blues’ forward pack.
Meanwhile, exciting young fullback, Dylan Edwards, has been named to make his State of Origin debut, replacing the experienced James Tedesco. Edwards’ impressive form in the NRL has earned him a spot in the coveted number one jersey.
Maguire’s bold moves aim to inject new energy into the team and capitalize on the Blues’ impressive performance in Game II. With the series poised at 1-1, the changes could prove pivotal in securing a NSW victory in the decider.
