Netflix has officially announced production of a documentary focused on Joseph Morgan, the British actor who rose to global fame as Klaus Mikaelson in The Vampire Diaries and its spin-off The Originals.

Titled Beyond the Bite: The Joseph Morgan Story (working title), the feature-length film will trace Morgan’s evolution from stage-trained performer to one of the most beloved (and feared) characters in supernatural TV history. It will also explore his real-life journey—both as an artist and a person who has used fame to foster creativity, activism, and independent storytelling.
