Marc Márquez remains a prominent figure in MotoGP, a category he entered 11 years ago. Despite acknowledging the unique strengths of the younger generation, he remains highly competitive, consistently fighting for top positions when his equipment permits, as shown by his third place in the championship.

According to GPOne.com, the Gresini rider told SPEEDWEEK.com that he notices younger riders approach the sport more instinctively, without overthinking their bikes. “When you enter MotoGP in your 20s, you think you know everything, but you don’t fully understand how it works. You rely on instinct, compete with the big names, and have nothing to lose. When I follow riders like [Pedro] Acosta, [Jorge] Martín, or [Francesco] Bagnaia, who are five or ten years younger than me, I notice their natural riding style and lack of overthinking about the bike. This can be positive.”

Márquez highlighted Acosta as an example of this fearless spirit. The Red Bull GasGas Tech3 rider has shown remarkable determination from the start, taking on established names like Márquez. Even in his learning phase, Acosta has competed effectively with seasoned riders, already securing two podiums. Márquez himself exemplifies this approach, having entered the premier class in 2013, quickly winning races and becoming a champion in his rookie year against competitors like Jorge Lorenzo and Valentino Rossi.
