Legendary guitarist Ritchie Blackmore marked a special milestone in his personal life, celebrating wife Candice Night’s birthday in an intimate and emotional ceremony.
The Deep Purple and Rainbow icon, known for his iconic riffs and solos, showed a softer side as he honored his partner of over two decades. Blackmore, 78, and Night, 51, shared a romantic dinner at their home, surrounded by loved ones and fond memories.
“Candice is the love of my life,” Blackmore said, his voice filled with emotion. “She’s not only an incredible musician but an amazing person. I’m grateful for every moment we share.”
Night, lead vocalist of Blackmore’s Night, was visibly moved by the heartfelt gestures. “Ritchie always knows how to make me feel special,” she said, smiling. “This birthday was truly unforgettable.”
The couple’s musical collaboration has yielded numerous albums, blending folk, rock, and Renaissance-inspired sounds. Their personal bond, however, remains the greatest harmony.
As they celebrated, Blackmore presented Night with a custom-made guitar, adorned with intricate designs and symbols representing their love story.
“This guitar is a symbol of our love and music,” Blackmore said. “Candice inspires me every day.”
The heartfelt celebration was a testament to the enduring love and partnership between two musical souls.
