As the cycling world gears up for the prestigious Vuelta a España, American rider Sepp Kuss is preparing to take on the grueling 21-stage race. In a recent interview, Kuss shared his thoughts on the upcoming competition.
“I’m feeling strong and confident after a solid training block,” Kuss said. “The Vuelta is a unique race with a lot of opportunities for attacking and making moves.”
When asked about his goals, Kuss emphasized the importance of taking it one stage at a time. “I want to focus on being consistent and seeing where that takes me. Of course, a top-10 finish would be amazing, but I’m not putting too much pressure on myself.”
Kuss also spoke about the challenging route, which features numerous mountainous stages. “The Vuelta always has some of the toughest climbs in cycling. I’m looking forward to testing myself against the best in the world.”
With his impressive climbing abilities and growing experience, Kuss is definitely one to watch in this year’s Vuelta. Can he make a mark on the general classification? Only time will tell, but one thing is certain – Sepp Kuss is ready to give it his all.
