Sometimes I don’t realize how far I am, I just take the shots… Clark on shooting long range
Caitlin Clark, the Indiana Fever’s rookie sensation, left fans and teammates alike in awe with a remarkable long-distance shot from beyond the three-point line. The play unfolded as Clark received a pass on the wing, took a few dribbles to create space, and then launched the ball from 25 feet out.
The shot sailed through the air, hitting nothing but net as it dropped through the basket, giving Clark’s team a much-needed spark. The crowd erupted in cheers as Clark’s teammates rushed to congratulate her on the impressive make.
Clark’s coach, Christie Sides, praised her player’s confidence and shooting ability, saying, “Caitlin has a special gift. She’s not afraid to take big shots and has the range to make them.” The shot was a testament to Clark’s hard work and dedication to improving her game.
The Fever went on to win the game, with Clark’s three-pointer serving as a turning point in the contest. As the season continues, Clark’s ability to stretch the defense with her long-range shooting will be a valuable asset for the Fever.
