The Warning Aim to Feature More Spanish Songs on Upcoming Album Following Fan Feedback
We’re Listening!” — The Warning Vow More Spanish Songs on Next Album
Mexican rock powerhouse The Warning is taking fan feedback seriously—and their next album could sound a lot more bilingual because of it.
During a recent interview, the Monterrey-based trio revealed that fans have been vocal about the lack of Spanish-language tracks in their releases. While the band has built a strong global following with their fierce, guitar-driven sound and commanding stage presence, some of their most dedicated Spanish-speaking supporters have expressed disappointment that their native language is often underrepresented.
“We’ve heard the comments, and we want to do better,” the band said. “We want the next album to include more than just one song in Spanish.”
The candid admission reflects the band’s evolving connection with their roots and their audience. Known for seamlessly blending classic rock influences with modern metal edge, The Warning—composed of sisters Daniela, Paulina, and Alejandra Villarreal—have always straddled cultural lines, performing mostly in English while proudly representing Mexico on the world stage.
Their 2022 album Error included the single “Martirio,” a haunting track delivered entirely in Spanish. It was met with overwhelming praise and sparked hopes for more. Now, it seems fans may finally get what they’ve been asking for.
The sisters emphasized that their priority is always to stay authentic to their creative process—but they also recognize the importance of honoring where they come from.
“We love our culture. Singing in Spanish is a different kind of expression. It brings out something raw and powerful,” they added. “And it connects us even more deeply with our fans at home.”
With their next project already in development, this promise of linguistic diversity is exciting news for longtime supporters who’ve been craving more Spanish rock anthems.
Whether you speak English or Spanish, one thing’s clear: The Warning is listening, and their next album might just strike the perfect chord between global ambition and local pride.
