WNBA Rookie of the Year Debate Could be Over as Odds Drastically Change for Clark, Reese
Though the WNBA’s 2024 Rookie of the Year debate has been an extremely difficult choice between Caitlin Clark of the Indiana Fever, and Angel Reese of the Chicago Sky, one player could be running away with the award after a historic week.
Angel Reese had an incredible run with her double-double streak and even gained traction as the new favorite to win the award from some rankings, but her time on the throne has come to an end. Caitlin Clark had an unbelievable week, making history on multiple occasions. After this insane week, her betting odds to win the award have spiked to a whopping -1050, or a 91.3 percent chance to win the award.
The fact that this is higher than it was at the beginning of the season is simply ridiculous, and it doesn’t look good for Reese at all. Even so, there is still plenty of time for things to change in her favor, as the race appears to flip-flop every week.
