Zach Abolverdi Reveals Injury Report On Gators WR After Injury Uncertainty For Georgia Game
Florida Gators wide receiver Justin Wilson’s injury status has been shrouded in uncertainty, but according to Zach Abolverdi, a reliable source close to the team, Wilson has been dealing with a lingering hip issue.
Abolverdi reported that Wilson visited a hip specialist earlier this week to address the injury, which has been bothering him throughout the season. This news comes after Wilson missed three games earlier in the season due to a knee injury suffered in Week 2 against Samford.
Wilson underwent minor surgery for the knee injury and was sidelined for games against Texas A&M and Mississippi State. He returned to practice during the week leading up to the UCF game but has been limited in his participation.
The hip injury has raised concerns about Wilson’s availability for the upcoming game against Georgia. While the Gators’ coaching staff has not officially ruled him out, Abolverdi’s report suggests that Wilson’s status remains uncertain.

Wilson’s absence would be a significant blow to the Gators’ receiving corps, which has already been depleted by injuries this season. The junior wideout has been a reliable target for quarterback Graham Mertz, hauling in 23 receptions for 327 yards and two touchdowns.
The Gators face off against Georgia on Saturday, and Wilson’s status will be closely monitored leading up to kickoff.
Stay tuned for further updates on Wilson’s injury and the Gators’ preparations for the Georgia game.
